July is a season of energy, ambition, and new beginnings.

As recent graduates from the Class of 2026 embark on the next stage of their professional journeys, Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhiguang Electric) welcomed 59 outstanding graduates from universities across China. To help the new employees quickly understand the company and successfully transition from campus to corporate life, Zhiguang Electric organized a seven-day “ZhiQi” (Wisdom Enlightenment) onboarding training program from July 13 to July 21.

1.Preparing for the Workplace: From Student to Professional

To help new hires adapt to the workplace and make a smooth transition into their professional roles, the company launched a 10-day online reading program before the official training began.

Participants read and discussed It’s Your Ship and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The books inspired the new hires to exchange ideas and build a shared understanding of leadership, teamwork, and professional development before officially beginning their careers.

The onboarding process also included outdoor team-building activities that focus on collaboration. Exercises, including Battlefield Deployment and Silent Graduation Wall, helped participants build trust, strengthen communication skills, and develop a stronger sense of teamwork and responsibility.

2.Bringing Together the Next Generation of Talent

At the start of the program, participants were divided into six learning groups, each tasked with creating their own team’s name, slogan, and logo. From brainstorming to stage presentations, every group demonstrated the creativity, enthusiasm, and innovative spirit that represents Zhiguang Electric.

New employee representatives Chen Bingxu, Zhang Runhan, and Shen Chenglin shared their personal experiences, career aspirations, and the reasons they chose to join Zhiguang Electric.

3.Learning Through Direct Engagement with Senior Executives

To help new employees gain a deeper understanding of the company’s vision and culture, Zhiguang Electric specially organized a face-to-face exchange session with senior executives.

The session covered topics such as industry development trends, the company’s strategic direction, and career development. The new hires also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical guidance from company leadership.

The President of Zhiguang Electric, Jiang Xinyu, put forward three expectations for new employes: act quickly, gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s businesses and technologies, and continue learning and growing within their professional fields.

4.Building Knowledge for Long-Term Growth through Expert-Led Training

This training revolved around three main themes: Experiencing Zhiguang, Role Transition, and Professional Enhancement. Through corporate culture sessions, technical training, and industry education, the new hires gained a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations while strengthening their professional skills.

Learning and Understanding Zhiguang Electric’s Mission

The head of the Chief Engineer’s Office at Zhiguang Electric served as a course instructor. He introduced trends and prospects of new energy storage technologies, the company’s development history, and its 15th Five-Year plan, and recent technological innovations.

Site Visits: Experiencing Innovation Firsthand

New hires visited the Yonghe New Energy Storage Industrial Park as well as Guangzhou Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. to gain first-hand exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and innovation in the semiconductor industry.

Development of Professional Skills for Role Transition

Training courses included topics such as understanding the company’s talent development policy, building a growth mindset, legal awareness in daily work, and using structured thinking to improve productivity and work efficiency.

Although the seven-day onboarding program has come to an end, it marks only the beginning of these new employees’ professional journeys.

The 59 graduates will now bring their knowledge, skills, and experiences gained during the program into their respective roles. They will continue to learn through practical experience and grow by embracing new challenges.

Zhiguang Electric looks forward to seeing every member of the “ZhiQi” graduate program maintain a passion for learning and embrace the responsibilities of a new generation of professionals. Together, the new hires will contribute to Zhiguang Electric’s vision of becoming a globally influential technology enterprise while helping build a smarter, greener energy future.
