Strong Policy Support and Market Opportunities
Spain is rapidly advancing its energy storage sector through legislation, subsidies, and strategic initiatives. Royal Decree 7/2025 integrates storage into the national energy strategy and streamlines project approvals. Government incentives cover 40–65% of costs for storage projects, with over 143 projects supported by EU regional funds, totaling nearly 9 GWh. The National Energy and Climate Plan targets approximately 22 GW of storage by 2030, reflecting the strategic importance of energy storage for grid resilience.

Leveraging its success at Genera 2025, Zhiguang Electric will strengthen collaboration with European partners, accelerate project deployment, and deliver full-scenario energy storage solutions. The company remains committed to innovation, offering safer, smarter, and more efficient systems to support renewable energy integration and a sustainable energy transition in Europe and beyond.
