Recently, Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Co., Ltd., successfully passed the national type test conducted by the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Electric Control and Distribution Equipment for its independently developed intelligent high-voltage variable frequency drive (VFD) system. The successful certification marks a significant milestone for Zhiguang Electric Technology, showcasing its advanced capabilities in ultra-high-power high-voltage VFD technology and reinforcing its leadership in industrial energy efficiency and intelligent control.

The ZINVERT-S5H60000/10 system that passed the type test was rigorously tested in accordance with the following standards:
GB/T 30843.1-2014 – General-purpose adjustable speed electrical power drive systems for voltages above 1 kV and up to and including 35 kV – Part 1: Technical requirements
GB/T 12668.4-2006 – Adjustable speed electrical power drive systems – Part 4: Rating specifications for AC drives above 1000 V and up to and including 35 kV
GB/T 3859.1-2013 – Semiconductor converters – General requirements and specifications for line-commutated converters – Part 1-1: Basic requirements
DL/T 1648-2016 – Technical specification for high and low voltage ride-through capability of VFDs used in power plants and substations

The product has a rated capacity of 60 MVA, making it ideal for ultra-high-power motor drive applications. It offers a frequency range of 0–120 Hz, providing wide speed regulation and high control precision. The water-cooled heat dissipation system delivers excellent cooling efficiency, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh environments with high temperatures or heavy dust. Its output waveform meets grid standards without the need for external filters, fully complying with strict harmonic regulations. In addition, the system incorporates multiple intelligent protection and start-up technologies, including high/low voltage ride-through, soft torque transfer (STT) for direct rotating load start-up, and short-circuit protection (SCP).
